JOB DESCRIPTION

As a ReachOut.com content producer you will be responsible for writing, editing, recording, and sourcing multi-media content for the ReachOut.com site. A primary accountability of this role is to work with young people and collaborate with the Design & Delivery team in the development of youth-centric content that delivers on our aim to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Write, edit, produce and source multi-media youth centric content in line with our content strategy and in keeping with our user experience goals 
• Produce and direct content for the ReachOut.com Blog, ensuring that we draw on relevant news stories to drive conversations with our audience  
• In line with our content strategy, monitor, enrich and update existing content to keep it accurate and engaging • Help train a pre-selected group of young people to produce multi-media content 
• Commission and oversee the generation of quality user-driven content for the ReachOut.com program 
• Help implement social media strategies that align with the ReachOut.com content strategy and user experience goals REQUIREMENTS
• 4+ years digital experience  • Proven ability to work with young people • Experience working for youth programs / brands / websites in lifestyle, education or health  
• Evidence of strong creative flair and effective writing skills • Energetic, dynamic and 'can-do' attitude, with experience working to tight deadlines.  
• Experience using bespoke content management systems 
• Experience working in a social media rich environment including RSS, Polls, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, user generated content and other socially networked tools and activities 
• Proven skills in project management
