Disability Sector Leadership Program
As part of the investment to strengthen the development of the not for profit disability sector National Disability Services NSW is pleased to facilitate training support to build the potential of capable future leaders across the disability sector.
In the pilot phase, the NSW Industry Development Fund is funding 15 places in the program. The program will commence on Thursday 9 February 2012 and the last day will be Thursday 2 August 2012. All activities will be based in Sydney therefore; all travel costs to Sydney will be covered by the program for the successful regional based candidates.
The program has been specifically designed for the not-for-profit disability sector with the intent to support participants to lead and implement the necessary change management in response to personalisation. Participants have access to training, coaching and other leadership development opportunities. The training has a strengths based, capacity building approach and as such those attending will be asked to actively share their learning within their community and in their practice.
