Uranium exports to India

 On the 16th November, Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard addressed a press conference and advised that "selling Uranium to India would be good for the Australian economy and good for Australian Jobs".

Senator Bob Brown added to the discussion "nuclear is not going to save the world from climate change but it is going to make the world a lot less safe."

For half a century Australia has adhered to the principles of the non-proliferation treaty and opposed uranium exports to countries, like India, that have not signed this treaty and related nuclear agreements.

Do you support the change of policy on the sale of Uranium to India for energy production in the wake of the Fukushima crisis?
