Youth Parliament

2011 was the 25th year of Youth Parliament in Victoria. For 25 years, young people have been taking over the chambers of Parliament, debating legislation they've written on issues that are important to them. To date, more than 25 Youth Parliament Bills have gone on to become Victorian law. Youth Parliament provides young Victorians aged between 16 and 25 with the opportunity to "raise the roof of parliament" on the issues closest to their hearts.
