The Victorian Government is supporting two places for the 2012 intake for the Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA).
The EMPA is a two-year, post-graduate program aimed at developing the policy and management skills of high-potential employees in government and government-related sectors.
Applications are open to individuals in all Victorian NFP organisations, with a preference given to organisations that have displayed a particular commitment to building the capacity of the sector.
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Strong evidence of leadership potential
- Potential to contribute at the senior executive level as part of the next generation of NFP sector leaders
- Clearly and consistently above-average work performance
- Sound management capability
- Commitment and ability to contribute to learning and to learn from others
- Strong commitment to career development
- Capacity to complete a rigorous masters program (usually evidenced by successful completion of an undergraduate degree)
- In most cases, at least five years relevant work experience.
All applications will be assessed by a selection panel consisting of representatives from the Victorian Government and the NFP sector.
Applications close 5pm Friday 18 November 2011.
To receive an application form please emailcommunitysector@dpcd.vic.gov.au
