About the course
:

The Australian Institute of Company Directors' Not-for-Profit Chairman is being delivered for chairs of charitable not-for-profit organisations looking to fine-tune their leadership and governance skills.  It also provides an in-depth analysis of the chairman's accountabilities and relationships with other board members and the CEO.  This is a rare opportunity to discuss common issues such as board selection, board processes, communication, CEO succession planning and the unique challenges facing NFP boards, with fellow chairs.

The Programs will be facilitated by Henry Bosch AO, former chairman of the National Companies and Securities Commission, Chairman of the Working Group on Corporate Practices and Conduct, and chairman of the committee which produced the Australian Standard on corporate governance.  Henry brings his expertise and experience having served as chairman or director on more than thirty boards in both the public and private sectors.

The Programs will be held over one day (six hours duration) in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in Februay 2012.  The course will include a working lunch and the opportunity to discuss issues and network with other NFP Chairs.
