The Young Women's Leadership Program works with young women who wish to develop their confidence and leadership skills in a caring and supportive environment. Connect with inspiring young leaders, discuss local community issues and develop your confidence and skills to make a difference.
About the Program
This program is worth $1000 per person, but is FREE for participants thanks to the funding from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship through the Diversity and Social Cohesion Program.
Participants will be guided to complete five leadership tasks including
Participants will also organise and facilitate a high school leadership workshop promoting cultural awareness and understanding.
Dates
Participants must be able to commit to Wednesday evening workshops from the 18th Jan - 4th April, the weekend Retreat on the 3rd - 5th February and the Leadership Forum on the 16th March to participate fully in the program.
