Australian Youth Climate Coalitions National Grassroots team is currently looking for an individual to become their next Victorian State Co-Coordinator. This is a senior leadership role within the AYCC, responsible for leading their volunteer team in Victoria and building the youth climate movement here. With rapid growth happening across the state, the opportunity to become Victorian State Co-Coordinator is an unprecedented chance to take ownership over a rapidly growing branch of AYCC, with significant personal and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage volunteer support systems with the volunteer support team. This includes the mentoring and support of VIC state teams and providing volunteer training opportunities
- Maintain communication between National AYCC, other state teams and internal Victorian groups on strategy, project management and resources
- Represent the AYCC VIC as media spokesperson, when needed
- Network and collaborate with other organisations in Victoria that AYCC can learn from and work with
- Grow the AYCC in Victoria (in numbers and groups)
- Maintain long-term strategic goals in mind
- Support and build local groups in Victoria (or build a team to do this)
- Love volunteers!
You will succeed in this role if:
- You are a good communicator

- You have a can-do attitude
- You are a big picture and strategic thinker
- You are commited to building a movement to solve the climate crisis
- You have demonstrated experience with working with volunteers and/or volunteer management
- You value learning
- You are reliable

Australian Youth Climate Coalitions National Grassroots team is currently looking for an individual to become their next Victorian State Co-Coordinator.
Australian Youth Climate Coalitions National Grassroots team is currently looking for an individual to become their next Victorian State Co-Coordinator. This is a senior leadership role within the AYCC, responsible for leading their volunteer team in Victoria and building the youth climate movement here. With rapid growth happening across the state, the opportunity to become Victorian State Co-Coordinator is an unprecedented chance to take ownership over a rapidly growing branch of AYCC, with significant personal and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage volunteer support systems with the volunteer support team. This includes the mentoring and support of VIC state teams and providing volunteer training opportunities
- Maintain communication between National AYCC, other state teams and internal Victorian groups on strategy, project management and resources
- Represent the AYCC VIC as media spokesperson, when needed
- Network and collaborate with other organisations in Victoria that AYCC can learn from and work with
- Grow the AYCC in Victoria (in numbers and groups)
- Maintain long-term strategic goals in mind
- Support and build local groups in Victoria (or build a team to do this)
- Love volunteers!
You will succeed in this role if:
- You are a good communicator
- You love working with people
- You have a can-do attitude
- You are a big picture and strategic thinker
- You are commited to building a movement to solve the climate crisis
- You have demonstrated experience with working with volunteers and/or volunteer management
- You value learning
- You are reliable
