What is shaping your industry for the future?
A Digital Economy Action Plan is being developed to outline a vision and strategy for the Digital Economy over the next decade. This can't happen without your help. The NSW Government has appointed an Industry Taskforce, chaired by Glenn Wightwick to develop the Plan. The Taskforce is seeking your input to help it deliver on its Terms of Reference.
We need to hear what you think the industry is good at - where its strengths lie, both locally and globally. And we need to hear about the opportunities for growth, both short and long term.
We also need to hear what is limiting you, or likely to limit you, taking up these opportunities - these could include issues around regulations, skills and training, innovation and productivity, R&D or infrastructure.
The Plan will set out actions for both industry and government to encourage industry growth, productivity and innovation, and export performance. So we need to hear about solutions - what are the actions that the Industry or NSW Government can take to solve these issues - quick fixes and longer term initiatives.
