What is it about?
Young people, aged 15-20 have opinions and are impacted by decisions made in our parliaments. Although many people of that age are not yet old enough to vote, political parties should be aware of their concerns.
Youth Poll has previously found young peoples' responses on issues such as same-sex marriage, rates of binge drinking; smoking and other drug use; body image; support for a republic; cyber-bullying; climate change; and affordability of education, employment and housing.
The Australian Democrats have re-launched our national Youth Poll, after an absence of over three years because we know the wide range of attitudes of young people matter.
When is it happening?
Youth Poll 2011 will run from October 31, 2011 to January 31, 2012 and is open to all Australians aged 15-20 (except Executive members of the Australian Democrats).
The results will be published in late February 2012 on the Australian Democrats Website
