The Annual General Meeting of the Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia's will be held from 3.30-5.00pm on Tuesday the 6th of December 2011 in the Scarlett Room at Hotel Northbridge and it is your opportunity to ask questions of the YACWA Board and Staff, provide your feedback about our work and to celebrate YACWA's and the youth sector's successes over the past year.

At this year's AGM YACWA will also be launching its new website.

One vital aspect of the Annual General Meeting is the election of new Board members to the Board of Directors. This year we have a number of vacancies available and we encourage all members to consider nominating for the various positions. YACWA is very happy that a number of the current Board members up for election will be seeking re-election.

YACWA Members keep an eye out for your AGM package which will come out in the mail, this will include nomination forms for the Board of Governance. If you haven't renewed your membership for 2011 - please do so ASAP as only financial members will be allowed to vote at the Annual General Meeting.

The AGM will be followed by a Members Sundowner from 5.00pm-6.00pm where we will present donations to homelessness services who assisted young people in this year's highly successful Home Is Where My Heart Is Photo Exhibition.
