Who we are

Left Right Think-Tank is Australia's first inde­pend­ent, non-partisan think-tank of young minds with a mission to involve young people in public policy.

Our vision is for a nation that seeks and embraces the ideas of young people. We aim to help create a society where young people advise and are con­sul­ted on national issues of broad com­munity concern, not just youth issues.

We are not-for-profit and all our staff are aged between 16  -  24 and volun­teer their time for our cause.

What we want from you

Left Right Think-Tank is cur­rently seeking an ener­getic, optim­istic and detail-orientated young person to work within the Queensland Business Team as the Finance Officer.

The Finance Officer is respons­ible for the running, plan­ning and man­age­ment of Left Right Think-Tank's finances. Reporting to Business Manager the Finance Officer's main duty will be to support the Queensland team with all finance and account­ing related func­tions. The suc­cess­ful person will have a com­mit­ment to under­take account­ing func­tions with accur­acy and timeli­ness and a desire to improve and develop their skill set.

Queensland Business Team (Based in Brisbane) 8-10 hours a week
