Job outline
As an office administrator you will be responsible for the day to day administrative needs of the Oaktree National Office one day a week. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Collecting mail, answering phones, responding to emails sent to info@theoaktree.org, and greeting guests visiting the office
  • Coordinating mail outs and processing incoming mail
  • Coordinating maintenance of the office
  • Creating a friendly, supportive and efficient office environment. 


You will also work with the National Head of Administration and General Manager of People and Culture to:

  • Provide purposeful experiences for volunteers, in a way that will ensure that Oaktree is equipped to achieve the biggest possible impact on eradicating extreme global poverty.
  • Run the 2012 Oaktree National Conference - a three day conference in the first weekend of December that will be attended by 180 Oaktree volunteers from around Australia.

This role will begin in January 2012, but the applicant must be free to attend the 2011 Oaktree National Conference from the 2nd - 4th of December.

  • Provide purposeful experiences for volunteers, in a way that will ensure that Oaktree is equipped to achieve the biggest possible impact on eradicating extreme global poverty.
  • Run the 2012 Oaktree National Conference - a three day conference in the first weekend of December that will be attended by 180 Oaktree volunteers from around Australia.

Job outline
As an office administrator you will be responsible for the day to day administrative needs of the Oaktree National Office one day a week. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Collecting mail, answering phones, responding to emails sent to info@theoaktree.org, and greeting guests visiting the office
  • Coordinating mail outs and processing incoming mail
  • Coordinating maintenance of the office
