About the opportunity  

The Training Business Manager will play a key role in the management team by building the viability of the Training Department. This area of responsibility involves the development, delivery and assessment of a range of non-accredited and accredited courses for a range of clients in the nonprofit sector. This is a full-time paid position with a fixed term of 12 months.  The role's key responsibilities include:

  • Explore effective methods of marketing and building the business of the Training Department, including building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage the RTO compliance and contribute towards ongoing continuous improvement of training and assessment strategies.
  • Deliver Nationally Recognised training products, including Certificate IV in 'Volunteer Program Coordination' (CHC42708) together with assessment of learners course work and support of learners during their study
  • Deliver a range of non-accredited training courses and presentations
  • Work with and support a small dedicated team of training personnel
  • Explore technologically innovative methods of delivering training to rural and remote students.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have:

  • Demonstrated RTO experience in training course development, delivery and assessment and continuous improvement, within the AQTF framework 
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Australian nonprofit sector and implications for delivery of training and assessment services together with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and written communication skills that facilitate professional, tactful and effective communication
  • Demonstrated high level organizational and time management skills
  • A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110)

About the opportunity  

The Training Business Manager will play a key role in the management team by building the viability of the Training Department. This area of responsibility involves the development, delivery and assessment of a range of non-accredited and accredited courses for a range of clients in the nonprofit sector. This is a full-time paid position with a fixed term of 12 months.  The role's key responsibilities include:

  • Explore effective methods of marketing and building the business of the Training Department, including building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage the RTO compliance and contribute towards ongoing continuous improvement of training and assessment strategies.
  • Deliver Nationally Recognised training products, including Certificate IV in 'Volunteer Program Coordination' (CHC42708) together with assessment of learners course work and support of learners during their study
  • Deliver a range of non-accredited training courses and presentations
  • Work with and support a small dedicated team of training personnel
  • Explore technologically innovative methods of delivering training to rural and remote students.
