Operations Intern
Change.org Australia is looking for an extremely talented and hard working intern to help set up our Australian operations.
You are - passionate about working as part of a rapidly growing global social change operation, pushing the boundaries of online organising and activism. You're great at "getting shit done", and have always been known amongst your friends and colleagues as the person who's great at organising stuff, and getting all the little details right.
You will - be working closely with the Australian Director of Change.org - and the rest of the team - to establish the basic operations of Change.org Australia, organising and attending team strategy retreats (and other team organisation stuff), finding and renting offices or buying furniture (and other operations work), helping organise meetings with top NGOs and much more.
You need - to be able to volunteer 1 - 2 days a week (or more). Ideally some of that time (but not all) would be from our current temporary office in Melbourne's CBD.
You'll get - incredible experience helping to establish a new organisation, incredible connections with top campaigners and NGOs around Australia, and the opportunity to be part of some great campaigns that are helping to create a better world.
We need someone who can start almost immediately, and the position will last for 6 - 8 weeks with the option to extend if you'd like.
To Apply
If you're interested please send a brief introductory email with your CV to nick@change.org - of if you know someone who might be interested then please pass this on to them.
