Who is UN Women Australia?

UN Women Australia is the National Committee for UN Women in Australia and is committed to supporting UN Women through advocacy, public education and fundraising for global women's issues.
UN Women Australia is seeking one or two Communications Interns, working either full time or two days per week  starting Tuesday, November 1st until Tuesday, January 31st.

Sponsorship Intern
Hours:
15-20 hours per week
Location:
Canberra
Duration:
3- 4 months (12th September to 23rd December)

  • Self-motivated and able to work cooperatively within a small-team

Desirable but not essential

  • Experience in events administration
  • Qualification in marketing, public relations, or business administration
  • Previous sponsorship or fundraising experience


Main Tasks

  • Supporting Fundraising and Partnerships Officer in sourcing sponsorship opportunities
  • Developing letters and information packs for potential sponsors
  • Providing support to obtain local sponsorship including raffles and corporate tables
  • Providing support to the Bequest Program
  • Ensuring UN Women Australia meets all sponsorship requirements
  • Answering email inquiries
  • Letter writing

Main Tasks

  • Supporting Fundraising and Partnerships Officer in sourcing sponsorship opportunities
  • Developing letters and information packs for potential sponsors
  • Providing support to obtain local sponsorship including raffles and corporate tables
  • Providing support to the Bequest Program
  • Ensuring UN Women Australia meets all sponsorship requirements
  • Answering email inquiries
  • Letter writing

Un Women is looking for a computer savvy and personable volunteer to handle sponsorship duties. Candidate will enjoy participating in a team making friends and gaining employabilitity skills in admin, sponsor sourcing and maintaining and communications.

UN Women Australia is seeking one or two Communications Interns, working either full time or two days per week  starting Tuesday, November 1st until Tuesday, January 31st.
