Australian Youth Climate Coalition
The Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC) is Australia's largest youth‐led organisation. We are an independent non‐profit with over 64,000 members nation‐wide and a strong online, offline and media presence. AYCC educates,
inspires and engages young people to actively build a sustainable future. We ensure the youth voice is heard loud and clear and is integral in driving positive social change and fostering a sustainable Australia.

The Positions
Join the national team driving Australia's largest youth‐led organisation. The Business Development team is seeking two skilled communicators and researchers to help underpin our vital outreach and supporter activities. Your communications skill will be integral to promoting our programs and establishing connections with prospective partners. This is your opportunity to work amongst a group of driven young people within an organisation renowned for its innovation and impact. If you have high level research and communication skills, are motivated and organised, then we're looking for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and researching prospective supporters
  • Developing tailored communications and marketing material
  • Researching grant opportunities and drafting applications
  • Maintaining AYCC supporter management systems

Selection Criteria Skills and Characteristics:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven research skills
  • Details‐focused
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and driven
  • Strong time management skills: works efficiently and effectively
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Past grant writing, persuasive writing or marketing experience desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and researching prospective supporters
  • Developing tailored communications and marketing material
  • Researching grant opportunities and drafting applications
  • Maintaining AYCC supporter management systems

Selection Criteria Skills and Characteristics:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven research skills
  • Details‐focused
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and driven
  • Strong time management skills: works efficiently and effectively
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Past grant writing, persuasive writing or marketing experience desirable
