Monash University Demands 'Child Health Now!'
Thursday 18th August, 5.30pm, South Lecture Theatre 1, Monash University (Clayton Campus)
8.1 million children die every year before their 5th birthday. Their deaths - from things like diarrhoea, malaria and pneumonia - are entirely preventable. World Vision has mounted a global campaign to stop this waste of children's lives by calling on all actors to improve children's health systems.
Monash University is right behind the Child Health Now campaign. On 18th August, Ignite Global Health (Monash Medical students) and Vision Generation Monash (World Vision's student movement) are joining forces to educate and empower you on the actions you can take! At this public forum you will hear from child health experts, Reverend Tim Costello (World Vision CEO) and student activists.
8.1 million children should not be dying before their 5th birthday. RSVP to kelsey.paske@vgen.org
