Left Right Think-Tank is Australia’s premier youth-lead organisation. The successful applicant will be working with the brightest and most inspiring young leaders throughout Australia to achieve the organisation’s mission and vision. Left Right Think-Tank is currently seeking a passionate, enlivened and energetic young person to work within the Victorian Business team as the Business Manager.

Reporting directly to the Victorian State Director, the successful applicant will play a pivotal leadership role in facilitating operations through program administration, service delivery and management. This includes systematically managing the Victorian Division’s financial health, meeting with key stakeholders to secure funding, and helping to create a compliant and healthy working atmosphere. The role will also give the successful applicant the opportunity to
hone their management skills in a dynamic, diverse and challenging environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all Victorian Business related matters includingadministration, legal, finance and staffing;
  • Establishing trusted and ongoing relationships with key Victoria based stakeholders including corporate and financial partners, organisational sponsors and supporters;
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive sponsorship and fundraising strategy that is informed by budget and resources;
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and law; and
  • Human resource management in a Victorian context.

Selection criteria:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to prepare high quality documentation and the confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders
  • Leadership experience of a diverse team with a strong commitment to quality, exceptional focus on outcomes and an energetic approach;
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills;
  • Versatility, flexibility, enthusiasm and a high level of initiative;
  • Highly competent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; and
  • Strong interpersonal skills including tact, discretion and an ability to deal with confidential matters.

Some level of education in the areas of commerce, business administration or finance is required. Experience in these areas or roles with other youth organisations is advantageous, though not required. We are interested in finding a person who is motivated, professional and works well with others.

Left Right Think-Tank is Australia’s premier youth-lead organisation. The successful applicant will be working with the brightest and most inspiring young leaders throughout Australia to achieve the organisation’s mission and vision. Left Right Think-Tank is currently seeking a passionate, enlivened and energetic young person to work within the Victorian Business team as the Business Manager.

Reporting directly to the Victorian State Director, the successful applicant will play a pivotal leadership role in facilitating operations through program administration, service delivery and management. This includes systematically managing the Victorian Division’s financial health, meeting with key stakeholders to secure funding, and helping to create a compliant and healthy working atmosphere. The role will also give the successful applicant the opportunity to
hone their management skills in a dynamic, diverse and challenging environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all Victorian Business related matters includingadministration, legal, finance and staffing;
  • Establishing trusted and ongoing relationships with key Victoria based stakeholders including corporate and financial partners, organisational sponsors and supporters;
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive sponsorship and fundraising strategy that is informed by budget and resources;
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and law; and
  • Human resource management in a Victorian context.

Selection criteria:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to prepare high quality documentation and the confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders
  • Leadership experience of a diverse team with a strong commitment to quality, exceptional focus on outcomes and an energetic approach;
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills;
  • Versatility, flexibility, enthusiasm and a high level of initiative;
  • Highly competent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; and
  • Strong interpersonal skills including tact, discretion and an ability to deal with confidential matters.

Some level of education in the areas of commerce, business administration or finance is required. Experience in these areas or roles with other youth organisations is advantageous, though not required. We are interested in finding a person who is motivated, professional and works well with others.
