The Australian Government is proud to be hosting the Commonwealth Youth Forum in Fremantle, Western Australia from Sunday 23 October to Thursday 27 October 2011. AYAC in conjunction with the Australian Government is seeking applications from young people who want to be heard and help set the agenda for the future of our commonwealth. The Commonwealth Youth Forum is a four-day meeting for young people from all Commonwealth nations to meet and discuss youth issues from their country and to hear about the experiences of other young people making a difference in their countries.
As an official lead-up event to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting the CYF is an opportunity for young people to contribute recommendations to the Commonwealth policy agenda.
Why should I be involved?
Delegates representing Australia at the CYF will be part of an exciting international event attended by other young people from around the world. You could be involved in deciding on the youth issues that need to be progressed by Commonwealth governments, and have the opportunity to provide recommendations direct to world leaders!
