POSITION TITLE

MAYIBUYE CEO > Executive Assistant to CEO

 

JOB OUTLINE

Executive Assistant to CEO plays a key role in ensuring the sustainability and growth of the organisation.

 

As the Executive Assistant to the CEO you will be responsible;

 

  • Attend with the CEO speaking engagements and key meetings (with corporate sponsors, media partners, and schools) where possible, and ensure good follow-up
  • Create and organise opportunities to increase Mayibuye’s exposure in the broader community, including meetings with potential partners and media engagements
  • Take direction from the CEO on driving specific areas of the Program, potentially including events, legal, promotions, finance, corporate link and projects
  • Research and produce issues briefings
  • Drive specific projects and events as directed

·         Assist with development of forms, applications and proposals

·         Managing CEO’s schedule and book in meetings and speaking arrangements

·         Assist CEO with phone and email communications

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Attendance and timely follow-up of internal and external meetings with the CEO
  • Quality and timeliness of research briefs as directed
  • Quality and timeliness of internal communications outputs (updates, meeting minutes & planned team meetings)
  • Professional communications on behalf of CEO

 

 

 

SKILLS REQUIRED

·            Ability to liaise effectively and professionally with a variety of stakeholders

·            Experience working in a professional business environment preferred

·            The ability to pre-empt issues that may arise

·            Understanding of community development and project development

·            Approachable, professional and organized

·            High level of initiative and independence

·            Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Attend with the CEO speaking engagements and key meetings (with corporate sponsors, media partners, and schools) where possible, and ensure good follow-up
  • Create and organise opportunities to increase Mayibuye’s exposure in the broader community, including meetings with potential partners and media engagements
  • Take direction from the CEO on driving specific areas of the Program, potentially including events, legal, promotions, finance, corporate link and projects
  • Research and produce issues briefings
  • Drive specific projects and events as directed

·         Assist with development of forms, applications and proposals

·         Managing CEO’s schedule and book in meetings and speaking arrangements

·         Assist CEO with phone and email communications

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Attendance and timely follow-up of internal and external meetings with the CEO
  • Quality and timeliness of research briefs as directed
  • Quality and timeliness of internal communications outputs (updates, meeting minutes & planned team meetings)
  • Professional communications on behalf of CEO

 

 

 

SKILLS REQUIRED

·            Ability to liaise effectively and professionally with a variety of stakeholders

·            Experience working in a professional business environment preferred

·            The ability to pre-empt issues that may arise

·            Understanding of community development and project development

·            Approachable, professional and organized

·            High level of initiative and independence

·            Excellent verbal and written communication skills
