Victorian State Director
Left Right Think Tank, Australia's first independent and non-partisan think-tank of young minds, is looking for a new State Director for the Victorian branch of the organisation.
The Victorian State Director is the head of the Victorian team. Reporting directly to the CEO, he/she is required to oversee the Policy, Communications and Business operations in Victoria, as well as consultation events with young people run by the Victorian team. The role includes overseeing and managing the new project we are launching in July 2011, Left Right Think-Tank's Policy Fellowship. The program gives young Australian from all around Victoria the opportunity to participate in and influence the creation of public policy.
The Victorian State Director will lead a team of dedicated volunteers in order to achieve Left Right Think-Tank's mission and vision while influencing the broader direction of the organisation through membership of the National Executive Group, made up of our Directors.
We are looking for a highly motivated, professional driven young person with the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage a diverse group of people. Strong project management skills and a keen eye for detail are extremely important.
