The AYCC, one of Australia's largest youth-led organisation, and powerful voice in the sustainability & environmental debate is looking for a new Co-Cordinator to head up their Victorian branch, their largest branch.
The Victorian Co-Coordinator needs to have a deep passion and commitment to solving climate change. They must have a strong vision for the movement as a whole, a demonstrated understanding of the AYCC's values and theory of change, and the ability to direct AYCC Vic's activities towards effective goals.
The role is both challenging and immensely rewarding. Constantly aiming to improve the volunteer experience and amplifying AYCC Vic's impact requires creativity, cooperation and self belief. Managing volunteers successfully also requires sophisticated social skills and empathy.
The Co-Coordinators are responsible for AYCC Vic decision making and decision making processes. With national assistance, they make decisions on how the AYCC can be most effective in solving climate change in Victoria. The role is a fantastic opportunity to develop many and varied skills with lasting benefits.
