World YWCA Young Womens Internships

This is an opportunity for young women aged 22-30 to apply for internships with the World YWCA. Young women with experience and interest in advocacy or communications around the key priorities of the World YWCA, which include human rights, sexual and reproductive health and HIV and AIDS, violence against women, and young women's leadership, are encouraged to apply.

Two interns will spend a year in Geneva, Switzerland starting 23 January 2012. Four short-term internships will provide young women with an opportunity to attend a international event such as CSW. 

Young women in Australia need to be endorsed by their member associations (using the appropriate form) and their applications sent to YWCA Australia for pre-selection by 12 August 2011. Please note that this date superceeds the date on the form and applicants cannot apply directly to the World YWCA.
