Want to make a positive difference to the lives of young Queenslanders?

If you’re between 18-25 years and keen to play a key role in the planning and promotion of National Youth Week (NYW) 2012, the Queensland Young Member role may be for you! As a Young Member for NYW in Queensland you will work with young people, government, and community groups on NYW planning, events, activities and promotions, and provide feedback and suggestions for Australia’s largest celebration of young people. You will be closely supported by a government mentor and other young colleagues to develop your skills in influencing government decision making processes.

The role comes with plenty of perks, some of which include training and development opportunities, interstate travel, and a fully funded position at the Queensland Youth Forum.
