Left Right Think-Tank, one of Australia’s premier youth led organisations, is seeking some talented and engaged volunteers to join their National team, based in Melbourne. They are seeking a Programs and Finance Director. Each is for an initial period of 12-months, 2-months of which is probationary.
Programs Director
Left Right Think-Tank is seeking a bright, experienced and forward-thinking Programs Director to oversee all aspects of Left Right's consultation activities, ensuring the organisation's mission is met through continuous and relevant dialogue with young Australians.
Reporting directly to the CEO, and as a member of the National Executive Group, the Programs Director will be responsible for creating and implementing a national consultation strategy for the organisation. He or she will also work with various department heads across the organisation in order to develop consultation plans, including the running of various events across the country. Importantly, The Programs Director will be responsible for providing high level strategic direction to the CEO and National Executive Group on all programs related matters, alongside the development of systems and processes to develop and clear and effective way of engaging young people.
Finance Director
Left Right Think-Tank is seeking a skilled, committed and innovative Finance Director to oversee all aspects of Left Right's financial activities, ensuring the organisation's financial health at a national level while implementing a multi- faceted financial strategy.
Reporting directly to the CEO, and as a member of the National Executive Group, the Finance Director will be responsible for creating and implementing a national finance strategy for the organisation. He or she will provide high level strategic advice to the CEO and National Executive Group while working with various departmental heads in order to ensure the best use of funds. Importantly, the Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing consistent and accurate national financial reporting in order to adequately inform the CEO and Board of Directors.
