The Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) is now calling for applications to the Young Social Pioneers program of 2011, an exceptional year-long learning and development program for Australian social changemakers.
Young Social Pioneers invests in inspired young Australians to develop their leadership skills and support their vision for social change. The program brings 14 changemakers together every year, creating a dynamic community of like-minded individuals who develop their skills while learning from and inspiring each other. Each Young Social Pioneer receives twelve months of professional training, development, mentoring and support for their project, valued at over $22,000.
To be eligible for Young Social Pioneers you must be:
18 - 29 years old (must be 18 on 05/04/11)
An Australian citizen living in Australia
Working on a project that has been active for a minimum of six months
