AYCC is currently looking for two incredible individuals to become the next Queensland State Coordinators. These are a senior leadership roles within the AYCC, responsible for leading our volunteer team in Queensland.

Indigenous Young Person National Youth Week Member

The Australian Government Office for Youth is seeking a young Indigenous (18-25 years) person to be a member of the National Youth Week 2012 National Planning Group (NPG). The right candidate will act as an NYW spokesperson, attend NYW events, perform teleconferences, potential media spots, attend meetings, have good communication skills with diplomacy and sensitivity and be available by email.

Queensland Youth Forum 2011

Applications for the 2011 Queensland Youth Forum are now open and will close on Friday 12 August 2011. This is an opportunity to meet young people from across the state, work together to develop submissions to government and youth-led projects, and present your ideas to the Queensland Government. You will also develop important skills and networks that will assist you in taking action to address priorities in your local community after the forum.

If you're between 18 to 25 years and keen to play a key role in the planning and promotion of National Youth Week (NYW) 2012, the Queensland Young Member role may be for you! As the Queensland Young Member for NYW 2012, you will be a member of the National Planning Group (NPG) for NYW and a member of the Queensland Youth Week team.
