G(irls)20 2012 Summit - Delegate

To highlight the prowess of girls and women and their role in development and innovation, two weeks prior to the G20 leaders meeting in Mexico, twenty-one girls, one from each G20 country plus representatives from the European and African Unions, will come together for the third G(irls)20 Summit.

Australia India Youth Dialogue Conference

The inaugural Australia India Youth Dialogue will be hosted at the end of January 2012, in New Delhi and Mumbai. During the AIYD conference, influential speakers will present their perspective on issues that affect the Australia India relationship, and participants will have the opportunity to engage with these speakers on a face-to-face basis.

The summit will be held in Zurich, Switzerland on 1st - 4th September 2011.

Australian Youth Delegation to APEC & UNFCCC

Global Voices is now calling for applications to attend the 2011 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in the United States and the 2011 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in South Africa. For delegates, the greatest benefit of attending the either APEC Summit or the UNFCCC Conference of Parties is the access to world leaders and foreign policy makers. These forums are the premier mechanisms for dialogue in their respective areas: the former on the Asia-Pacific region and the latter on the international coordination of responses to climate change.

2nd World Summit for Youth Volunteering, Colombia

The 2nd IAVE World Summit for Volunteering is open to youth aged 16- 30 worldwide. The summit will bring youth together from all corners of the world to explore ways to increase social inclusion and civic participation through volunteer service. Participants will engage during workshops, breakout sessions, through contests, recognition ceremonies, at cultural events that celebrate the vibrancy of the Caribbean, and by building a network of youth committed to supporting each other over the next ten years.

Global Youth Summit 2011 UK (16-19)

This November, Global Change Makers will be bringing 60 social entrepreneurs, community activists and volunteers aged 16 to 19 to the UK for a week of training sessions and workshops.
